What to Bring to Your Senior Session
(So You Look Like That Girl⌠or Guy đ)
Okay, real talkâyour senior session is not the time to just roll up with whateverâs on your bedroom floor and hope for the best.
This is your main character moment. Your âI peaked in high school but like, in a cool wayâ era. And Iâm here to make sure you show up ready.
So letâs get into itâwhat you should actually bring to your senior session so you look amazing, feel confident, and low-key have the best time ever.
If you bring one outfit⌠Iâm judging you a little. (Lovingly.)
Bring at least 2â3 looks:
Something casual (jeans, cute top, sneakers)
Something dressy (hello, main character energy)
Something that feels very you (sports, hobbies, band tee, etc.)
Pro tip: If you have to keep adjusting it, pulling it down, or sucking in your stomach⌠itâs a no. We want confident, not uncomfortable.
Shoes matter more than you think.
Yes, I will photograph them.
Yes, people will notice.
Bring options:
Clean sneakers
Cute boots or sandals
Something a little extra if you're feeling bold
Also⌠maybe donât wear your beat-up gym shoes unless thatâs the look. You know who you are.
You donât need a full glam squad, but a little maintenance goes a long way.
Throw this in your bag:
Lip gloss or lipstick
Powder (shine happens, itâs fine)
Hairbrush or comb
Bobby pins / hair ties
Oil blotting sheetsÂ
Because wind + humidity = chaos, and weâre not letting that win.
This is where your personality comes in.
Think:
Hats
Layered jewelry
Sunglasses
Letterman jacket
Sports gear
Instruments
Your dog (yes, PLEASE bring your dog)
If it tells your story, it belongs in your session.
Want your gallery to look super diverse without changing 10 times?
Layers are your best friend:
Denim jacket
Flannel
Cardigan
Button-down
We can take it on/off and suddenlyâboomânew look.
Minimal effort, maximum vibe.
You donât need to know how to pose. Thatâs my job.
You just need to show up ready to:
Laugh a little
Trust the process
Be yourself (I know, clichĂŠâbut also true)
Iâll guide you the whole time so you never feel awkward standing there like, âwhat do I do with my hands??â
This session is about capturing youânot some Pinterest version of you, not what your mom wants (love you, moms), not whatâs trending.
The best photos happen when you feel like yourself.
So bring the outfits, bring the extras, bring the energyâŚ
âŚand Iâll handle the rest. â¨
Ready to book your senior session?
Letâs make something that actually feels like youânot basic, not boring, and definitely not forgettable.
Â
Okay, your cool blog is done. Now all thatâs left is to publish and get readers. Think of blogging as part of your marketing strategy â because it really is.
Blogs help people find you through search engines. But you can also share your blogs on social media platforms to get people ooh-ing and ahh-ing over your work on your website. The goal is to show them around the place, dazzle them with your work, and hopefully theyâll end up booking their own sessions â or signing up for updates! Sharing is easy. Just click âShareâ and post to the social media of your choice. Done and done.
Our last notes are about design. Both for your overall blog layout and for each post.
People are visual creatures... but you know that already. A beautiful blog will encourage people to stay & read more! Your blog comes with a bunch of layout options so you can create a gorgeous experience for your readers.
If you write a longer article, try to break up the words with images peppered throughout. Photos make for a more enjoyable read!
If you have extra widgets, you can easily embed them in the footer or sidebar of your blog. Putting in a subscription form, for instance, is a great idea to keep people hooked on reading your blog!
Thatâs about it! You now know everything you need to make a great blog for your business! Good luck, champ. I know youâve got this. But if you ever have any questions, drop us a line, and weâll be glad to help!
Happy blogging!
Xoxo,
